About meMy name's Charlotte, but if you can call me by my nickname Charlie, please, that would be of preference.I was born on February 15th, 1977 making me 33 years old. However I'm your average Child at Heart, Teenager of Mind & Adult by Default kinda person. My favorite color is the Navy Blue I've got a sarcastic wit, but I try not to use it much, since it has gotten me into trouble sometimes. However, it can come out to play, most especially if I think something is ridicules and I think people just has to know about it. So I adore if sarcasm is present in the things I watch and listens to. The same applies to morbid humor. I'm a music listener and a TV- and movie watcher. I'm also lists maker, so that's also a reason to my staying here. Both for what can be found here and just for all the general stuff in the world. My most favorite TV shows will always be "The X-Files" and "Stargate SG-1". I love the female actor Amanda Tapping, for both her acting and for whom she generally is as a person. She is the woman I admire the most, next to my mother that is. And having met her in person, I have empirical evidence that she is truly awesome in about all ways in real life. PLEASE DO NOT PUT ANY GLITTER AND FLASHY IMAGES ON MY PROFILE BY MEANS OF COMMENTS. I'M A TEENY PHOTOSENSITIVE, SO MY EYES CAN'T HANDLE THOSE KINDS OF GRAPHICS, AS WELL AS BRIGHT COLORS. THOSE KIND OF THINGS, TENDS TO DISTRACT ME FROM EVERYTHING I NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TOO. EVEN IF THAT WASN'T THE CASE, MY PERSONALITY STILL HATES IT. It just means, that I like or love their music enough, so I will call them a fave of mine. I often only have some "greatest hits," because collecting everything will be more or less expensive. (A review of A Clockwork Orange)That I have ever watched in my entire life. I can't understand the idea, that violence should fight violence. I don't understand the hype around this movie either, because for me, there's nothing to love about it. I'm used to movies that scares me, on of my fave genre of movies and generally, it doesn't bother me getting scared and spooked. But this one really spooked the crap out of me, so much that I shiver when I think about it. This is the only movie of Stanley Kubrick I can't stand. No rating, because we can't rate in the minus. If we could, I'd have it as high as I even could. Apologize to all lovers of this movie, supposedly cult, but to me it is an absolutely failure. (A review of Titanic)This is honestly one of the most boring and long-winded movies I had to sit through. In my entire life. So I'm lucky that I watched it at home, not at the movie theater, on good old fashioned VHS, so I could either stop the tape or mute it, while doing something else for a while. I could have left this movie alone, but since I should be able to criticize it, I needed to watch it from beginning to end. I did it, sit through it all, even if I got bored to tears at some points and had to take breaks. Not even rated, because in my opinion, it is not worth rating. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
