About meMy name's Charlotte, but if you can call me by my nickname Charlie, please, that would be of preference.I was born six months and one day before Elvis dies, on August 16th. David Bowie, who is my greatest musical love, celebrated his 30th birthday, just one month and 7 days before I was born. On January 8th. I was born on February 15th, 1977. My fave color is the Navy Blue, well the color blue period, so how do you think how CharlieBlue came to be? But I also loves the colors Black, Green, Purple, Grey, Silver and just dark colors. As long as it isn't any kinds of Pink and bright colors. I've got a sarcastic wit, but I try not to use it much, since it has gotten me into trouble sometimes. However, it can come out to play, most especially if I think something is ridicules and I think people just has to know about it. So I adore if sarcasm is present in the things I watch and listens to. The same applies to morbid humor. I hate girly things, so here I also means chick-flicks. I can watch a few and that's also about as much girly chatter and squeals I can take. I'm a music listener and a TV- and movie watcher. I'm also lists maker, so that's also a reason to my staying here. Both for what can be found here and just for all the general stuff in the world. I am also a quite obsessed "The X-Files" and "Stargate SG-1" fan. (A review of A Clockwork Orange)That I have ever watched in my entire life. I can't understand the idea, that violence should fight violence. I don't understand the hype around this movie either, because for me, there's nothing to love about it. I'm used to movies that scares me, on of my fave genre of movies and generally, it doesn't bother me getting scared and spooked. But this one really spooked the crap out of me, so much that I shiver when I think about it. This is the only movie of Stanley Kubrick I can't stand. No rating, because we can't rate in the minus. If we could, I'd have it as high as I even could. Apologize to all lovers of this movie, supposedly cult, but to me it is an absolutely failure. (A review of Titanic)This is honestly one of the most boring and long-winded movies I had to sit through. In my entire life. So I'm lucky that I watched it at home, not at the movie theater, on good old fashioned VHS, so I could either stop the tape or mute it, while doing something else for a while. I could have left this movie alone, but since I should be able to criticize it, I needed to watch it from beginning to end. I did it, sit through it all, even if I got bored to tears at some points and had to take breaks. Not even rated, because in my opinion, it is not worth rating. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
